About Me
Hello! I’m Lynne, a certified Lifestyle Medicine Nurse and Yoga instructor with a deep passion for integrating holistic approaches into healthcare. My mission is to help you achieve optimal health and well-being through personalized lifestyle changes, including yoga, breathwork, and stress management techniques.
My journey into lifestyle medicine began after I qualified as a yoga instructor, and felt there was something missing in the way we practice medicine. I knew that shovelling medications to people was not the answer, nor what I wanted to do long term. In managing my own health throughout the years, this holistic view point has been pivotal to me regaining my health physically and mentally.
I am a Registered Nurse with 15 years experience and certified in Lifestyle Medicine through British Society Lifestyle Medicine. Additionally, I am a certified yoga instructor with 10 years of experience in teaching various styles of yoga, from Hatha to Yin. I am also qualified in breathwork.
I believe in a holistic, patient-centered approach to healthcare, where the focus is on treating the root causes of illness rather than just the symptoms. By integrating yoga, breathwork, and other lifestyle medicine practices, I aim to create comprehensive care plans tailored to your unique needs and goals. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy walking in nature with my dog (Pepper), Reading, learning new skills and music. I regularly practice yoga, meditate, and explore new breathwork techniques to deepen my understanding and practice. I am also actively involved in Ordinary People Academy, and several Lifestyle Medicine Communities as well as working with a beautiful class in my local community.
